All About Me....

Hello – I am Margo. I have been an educator for over three decades. It has been a journey from bilingual schools, to Charter Schools, to a Catholic School to forward thinking and traditional Independent Schools. I hold a BA in International Relations and Latin American Studies from Scripps College, an MA in Multicultural/Bilingual Education from Fairfield University, and a PhD from George Mason University, in Educational Leadership and International Education.  In 2019 I received a teacher certificate in Nature Based/Forest Schools from the Eastern Regional Association of Nature and Forest Schools. My educational experiences in both South America and the United States have included, serving as adjunct professor, principal, assistant principal, and department chair, as well as work developing curriculum in bilingual, immersion, multicultural, and foreign language programs.  I have taught English as a Second Language, Spanish, and core subjects to four year olds through adults.

More than anything I am a life long learner. Traveling, exploring, creating, and simply being! My new joys are gardening, birding, hiking......and being a Grandma!
I am a wanabe activist, constantly thinking about how to make the world a better place for all...
